 DJ Tuck

DJ Tuck has been rocking the decks since he was barely toilet-trained, when he rifled through his father’s vinyl collection and started experimenting with the controls while working with his grandparents record player. He grew up in a urban household, his father being a DJ for over 30 years put him into the trade by showing him everything he needed to know to get his foot through the door. He started with his fathers hammy downs and mastered the craft on his father’s Technic turntables. Slowly he saved money and bought his own decks and began forming his on craft.

He began playing in local bars and clubs in his hometown of Boston, getting his first break when he got a call from a local spot “The Charlie Horse” at age 17. He soon blew up in the South Shore and began playing in established clubs by the time he was 19, after he was discovered by another local DJ. Since that time, DJ Tuck has spun at all the hot clubs in Boston. Wether it be Prime Boston or The Ocean Club, the two hottest clubs in the area. He has shown them what “Beatmode” is really about. He is also a respected producer and music-edit specialist, having released his music to the internet for a little over a year now, he has gotten great feedback on mostly everything he puts his time into. His bootlegs and mashups have become very much about who DJ Tuck has become as a DJ, combining the hottest track out there with the most bass drop possible creating a massive hit on all levels. His most recent track, “Cry Some Noise”  featuring Chuckie’s hit “Make Some Noise” and Bingo Player’s hit “Cry (Just A Little) was featured on the internet’s Best House Bootleg site (housebootlegs.com) and gets playtime by most DJ’s who come across it with over 3,500 downloads. Tuck is also known for his mixtapes. in 2011, he dropped “College Years: Beer Pong Edition” which headlined Datpiff.com for two weeks and many other sites picked it up along the way. Over a span of 6 days the tape had over 10,000 downloads. In 2012, he started a new mixtape series called “Beatmode” which featured anywhere from 60-80 Minutes of the best EDM music out there. Every tape a total different concept and feel. He hopes to keep building on this “Beatmode” brand as the years go on.

Known for surprising the crowd, he’s not limited to minimal EDM, instead combining Dutch, Dubstep, Hip-Hop, Rock, Trap & Electronica all in one set to create a new sound that reaches out to anybody in the crowds preference. At 23, this is just the beginning…

Ron E Jones

Ron E Jones is an artist/songwriter from Sydney, Australia. In his hometown, he has established himself as one of the country’s premier pop music songwriters, working behind the scenes writing for many of Australia’s top pop stars.

Meanwhile in Malaysia, he is more recognized as the artist from the breakthrough number one single Tear Us Apart, with Malaysian songstress Nadhira and the number one radio single Chikaro, with Caprice. With his own debut solo single, Time Machine hitting radio now Malaysia, the question many may be pondering is “how did he end up in Malaysia?”

Well the answer is a lot simpler than one would expect.

At the start of 2011 he was invited by Whats Up Entertainment to contribute to Siti Nurhaliza’s English album ‘All Your Love’. After writing the song ‘Stand up’ for Siti, whilst in Kuala Lumpur, Jones was impressed by local act Nadhira who was enjoying some radio success at the time.

After tracking Nadhira down through his management, they met up and literally wrote ‘Tear Us Apart’ on the spot (along with Jones’ producer and songwriting partner Tom Diesel). The song became her lead single and the rest as they say is history…

So fast forward a year, after ‘Tear Us Apart’ took the #1 spot on all major Malaysian English radio stations, won Best Pop Song at the VIMA Music Awards 2012, various promo trips to KL, Siti’s album launch, tv/ radio appearances and a mini feature with rapper Caprice, Ron E Jones is finally ready to release his debut solo single ‘Time Machine’.
